Feast - A Play in One Cooking

Come join us at the table with our actors for the reading of this new play

THURSDAY JUNE 18TH. 19:30PM

Feast (A Play in One Cooking)
is the next production we are featuring as part of our online celebration of Women Writers and our Shakespeare’s Kitchen feature o. Come along and hear our actors read ‘Feast’ by Olivia Negrean, who will introduce the play and answer questions at the end. Why not bring along your supper for the evening to the session and share your recipe with us in this lockdown lardy session!

Six women who featured in Shakespeare plays, all from different parts of the world and at different times in history, come together for dinner in ‘Feast’. As they prepare their meal they discuss their lives as seen in the plays.

Olivia is an actor, writer and co-founder of begin:begin Theatre Company. 'Feast’, in which she also played the part of Ophelia, has been performed as part of the Shakespeare Festivals’ circuit in England and Europe. Her recent stage credits include projects at Donmar Warehouse and Vault Festival. Olivia was also featured in The Romanian Cultural Institute's initiative 'Twelve months, twelve creatives', which promoted new talent.

Please buy a seat at the table, and pay whatever you can afford. It will make a difference and help us continue to share drama and creativity online and hopefully in the future on stage. Below is the link to Eventbrite to book your place.
